The 7th BRICS Summit was held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on July 6th and 7th, 2025. This marked a pivotal moment for the world as it advanced a vision of inclusive and sustainable global governance. The BRICS Summit in 2025 was based on the idea of “Strengthening Global South Cooperation for a more inclusive and Sustainable Governance”. At the end of the summit, the BRICS Countries’ leaders signed a big agreement called the “Rio Declaration”. This document has all the promises and plans that the countries they made there. Some of the key points include:
