After that, He kept Reena hostage to keep connection with his enemies. He gets his dream of being the richest man. He orders his men to dig 8 secret gold mines, and to ensure his enemy, Vanaram decides to help him. After a huge fight between Rocky and his enemies to ruin his plans, Rocky had to evacuate his mansion with his hostage Reena with gold and some currency.
After much more back and forth, Rocky finally was about to find some peace, but there is a death warrant issued by the Indian Army against Rocky. He decides the best way is to evacuate from KGF on his ship with all his wealth. During his escape he gets surrounded by the US and Indonesian Navy as well as Indian Navy. he gets an option to surrender but refuses, instead he decides to take his life and jumps in the ocean. For people he is dead, but his body nor his gold was never found. In the end credits, it was shown that a document stating KGF 3 was found stating the story is not over yet and KGF Chapter 3 is confirmed by the makers and will release in 2025.

Release Date of KGF Chapter 2
After the KGF Chapter 1 success, the audience waited for 4 years for its sequel. The KGF Chapter 1 was released on 21 December 2018, with a budget of 80 crore rupees. Chapter 1 made 250 crore rupees, setting a high standard for the sequel.

“Prashanth Neel’s KGF !! One movie, a lot of housefull shows in the theater, full of noises, cheers and applauses, a scenario that celebrates a kannada movie all over Kerala. When it comes to cinema, every aspect of this movie is awesome. Acting, Vfx, Editing, Music, Action, Direction, Story, Screenplay, Performances, all are mind blowing to each other. When ‘Yash’ scored with the character of ‘Rocky Bhai’, the character came to mind in such a way that we could not even imagine anyone other than him. Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Adheera’, Raveena Tandon’s ‘Ramika Sen’ and Srinidhi Shetty’s ‘Reena’ deserve applause. But the most favourite character was Rocky’s Mother ( Shanthama) played by ‘Archana Jois’. All the songs and their placement was lit. Maybe, if you miss this film in theaters you can later watch it when it releases through OTT platforms like any other films” . By Akhil A writes

Despite the positive support from the majority of the audience, some of them have complaints.
The movie had an over the top action sequel that led to lack of backbone in storyline. The characters were blanks and have no real personality which was boring to watch as in real life people do develop over time. The movie felt long yet in a rush. No stability in the narration. The movie felt like a “hero worship” Unknown User.
The movie villain was shown to be too weak and it was honestly disappointing to watch. He deserves a real backbone and should have portrayed his real motive for being a villain and how he too was powerful. The fight should have been fair to watch. I even found the movie full of useless melodrama where it was unnecessary. Melodrama only works when the audience is connected to the character but due to the lack of personalities of the character it was impossible to create. The movie is definitely a one time watch but not twice for me!”
Movie makers should not take criticism as an attack but a diary to make better content so they can cater to the larger audience.
