According to the design context, the water closet (WC) type is the key decision that the function and style of the bathroom depend on. Two prevalent options for bathrooms of modern type today are wall mounted and flush tank water closets. Both styles are good in different ways and if they are combined they can create a home that is beautifully fashionable and at the same time practical and uses space efficiently.

    Understanding Wall-Mounted Water Closets

A wall-mounted toilet is a type of toilet that is mounted directly to the wall which allows the floor under it to be accessible and clean. One of the main characteristics of the wall mounted water closet is the fact that it is suspended in the air, which makes it look much more slim and appealing. A wall-mounted WC has the sleek architectural look that is number one selling point. It gives the bathroom an airy and spacious atmosphere, especially in the case of a small bathroom with a limited amount of space.

Flush Tank Water Closets: A Traditional Option

On the contrary, a toilet with a flush tank is the most frequently used kind of toilet. The structure is a toilet bowl which is connected to a separate flush tank that is placed on top or beside the toilet. The water in the flush tank is released when a user pushes the flushing button or lever. Flush tank water closets are liked because of their simple and faultless pattern and design. A concealed flush tank or one that is integrated into the cabinet or false wall could be visible to obtain a neater appearance.

Combining Both Types in a Bathroom Design

If we talk about a large bathroom, it is feasible to include both wall-mounted and flush tank water closets, which in turn, gives flexibility to the design. The main thing one has to keep in mind is that these two types should be implemented densely to make a well-balanced layout that meets the space requirements and the user’s needs as well.

What happens here is that you can arreange bathroom elements differently for making original designs. They can select it based on the functions it serves and the aesthetic appeal. Wall-mounted WCs can be awesome for modern or minimalist designs, but flush tank models would be more appropriate for more traditional and rural ones.

Tips for Designing with Wall-Mounted and Flush Tank Water Closets

    • Space Planning: Make sure there is enough space for each water closet type in the bathroom. Wall-mounted models should have enough wall space for installation while flush tank models need a greater floor space.
    • Complementing Materials: Pair wall-mounted toilets with today’s leading-edge materials such as glass, metal, and stone that are known to create a modern and sleek look.
    • Matching Fixtures: Maybe you choose the same bathroom fixtures like faucets and handles to mimic the look when installing both types of toilets.
    • Operation: When deciding where to put the new toilets, you should also take into account the usage of the space. The former ones are perfect for areas that need a stylish but still minimalist design; the latter can be taken into account for more extensive use because of their durability.

    Conclusion

The utilization of both wall-mounted and flush tank water closets in a bathroom design can give both sophisticated style and practicality. Wall-mounted water closets guarantee a modern design with space-saving options while flush tank water closets are simple to install and even more reliable. By a thoughtful arrangement of their placement and the adequate use of suitable materials and units, a bathroom can be visually thrilling and, at the same time, an extremely useful place.
